in a pickle mornin'

James was getting up early one morning to head to the kitchen when he had a hankering for a biscuit sandwich... you know the type, like your momma use to make - not a Breakfast Mac or a Breakfast Burrito but an honest to goodness, mouth-watering, incredible - splendiferous BREAKFAST EXPERIENCE...    Here's what he did...

He whipped up some bisquit batter... and baked 'em

Mama's Fav Biscuits
Mix...
1 cup flour
1 tsp. salt
2 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. baking soda
Cut in...
3 TBLS Crisco
Add...
3/4 cups of buttermilk
Stir well, and roll out cutting with biscuit cutter.  Place biscuits in well oiled pan, add a pat of butter on top of each biscuit.  Bake at 450 degrees for 10 minutes.

He fried an egg...

He fried a Jimmy Dean sausage patty...

He slathered in a pickle peach and cinnamon jam on the hot split biscuit

added the egg...

added the sausage patty...  left it on the counter... to go get Karen ....

and....

and....

MAC ate it.....   WOOOOOO HEEEEEE..... BAD DOG MAC!!!!

SERIOUSLY???  Naw... just jokin' ...  but you too can make yourself a SERIOUSLY, SPLENDIFEROUS in a pickle mornin' sandwich - it'll make your day full of sunshine!

AND remember don't let it sit on the counter for long...

in a pickle will be at White Rock Local Market this Saturday and offering some seriously, splendiferous samples at Jean Allen's Gifts in Arlington at their Little Road location on Sunday!

Come see us Pickle Peeps!
